This blog started as a week-by-week look at our lives in 2010 (hence the address) in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Now, with the closing of my other blog, from-russia, I've decided to extend this blog to cover 2011 as well (despite the address--which really bugs me now that it's inaccurate).

hiatus unforced

So, both new girl at the produkti and I are crazy.

(Although, I think she's crazier. She had a whole fantasy about my friend putting the strap around his neck and walking out. I just forgot. Which I will blame this time on too much on my mind with Lexi's party and the move and everything.)

My camera was in my classroom.

Friend who felt needlessly guilty can stop feeling guilty.

I can help with impunity.

And you, I hope, will have pictures soon.

  1. Sounds like something I might do. But, so glad you are reunited with your camera!

  2. I found you! Somehow you had dropped off my feed reader and I just assumed you had stopped posting. I'm so pleased to have you back. :)

  3. Hello! Just a clarifecation, Galya is "The other g" I would still love her as a sister, but G is Genya and The other G is Galya...

  4. Absolutly!!!! They are both sweethearts, everyone of them would fit in our hearts, but, a heart is bigger than a home, and, there's not enough money to support me, my brother (The bialogigal ones) Zhenya and Galya. Trust me, if money were'nt and issue, we would have plenty of adopted kids...

  5. Kate! In your comment on my blog, if you meant the first girl in the photo in that post with the dark hair, her name is rosa. She has a little brother Vasya, too:)

  6. I assume you are settling into the USA or perhaps you are taking the grand tour before you leave from Europe. I miss reading about you and your darling girl, Lexie. Hope you are doing well!

  7. I always stop blogging when things are not going well.

    You haven't posted in months.

    Things okay?
