This blog started as a week-by-week look at our lives in 2010 (hence the address) in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Now, with the closing of my other blog, from-russia, I've decided to extend this blog to cover 2011 as well (despite the address--which really bugs me now that it's inaccurate).

No matter what the train track configuaration, one thing remains constant. Standing on the train station are Lexi, Mama and Kristina. Just waiting. Together.

  1. That picture is touching yet very sad, i wonder if lexi when at the orphanage said to kyrstina dont wrry well have a mama soon. Then you came kate and saw her and maybe in her mind you were coming for her and krystina??i remember in one of your posts she said something like ....ill have mama make you a new dress and some supper..she probably feels that krystina is missing from the family she had in her mind..my heart feels sad for her..its a sad thing(i know from personal experience)to wait forever for someone whos not coming and the sadness of being apart..I still think your doing a fabulous job she is so alive and happy huggs from canada..
