Now, with the closing of my other blog, from-russia, I've decided to extend this blog to cover 2011 as well (despite the address--which really bugs me now that it's inaccurate).

2011, week six


On R 'n' R (Read and Relax) Day, we had a tent up in second grade. (This was a very overstimulating day for Lexi. Actually, all of February was with one special day after another.) AND it was the day that Lexi "got" to take Albert home for the week.

    It is hard to have a child who gets overstimulated....don't I know? For the other kids a super-neat event is just that. For MY daughter it is recipe for disaster - but who will believe me? Only other trauma-mamas.

    But, I have to say - it has gotten SO much better....healing is possible!
